How can your city get involved and make a pledge?
Step 1
Choose one or more of the 20 European Pillar of Social Rights principles to focus your pledge on.
Step 2
Formulate the text of your pledge in line with the previous examples you will find here and send it to EUROCITIES for feedback and advice.
Step 3
Have your mayor or relevant deputy mayor sign your pledge and submit it to EUROCITIES.
Step 4
EUROCITIES will announce your city pledge to all EUROCITIES Social Affairs Forum members and to EU institutional stakeholders. You are advised to share the announcement with your local media and stakeholders.
Step 5
Your politician will have the opportunity to present the city pledge to EU policymakers and other SAF members at the Social Affairs Forum 2023 in Lyon.
